Chapman Choir to Perform for Pope at Sistine Chapel

The Chapman University Choir and Singers will perform for Pope John Paul II at the Sistine Chapel in Rome as part of a January tour through Italy.
The 114-member choir and 32-member singers, all under the direction of William Hall, will give a preview of the program they will present in Rome with works by Palestrina, Victoria, Tschesnokoff, Schumann and Brahms. The concert starts at 8 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Red Hill Lutheran Church, 13200 Red Hill Ave., Tustin.
