Church and State

In his Sept. 3 commentary, Alan M. Dershowitz states, “Any candidate for president who does not support our constitutional wall of separation between church and state is not qualified to hold our highest office.” It is true that our Constitution clearly separates church and state, but nowhere is it written that a candidate should separate God from state.
