TWA to Launch Orange County-JFK Service

Trans World Airlines said it will launch the only nonstop service between Orange County’s John Wayne Airport and New York’s Kennedy Airport, starting Oct. 29, with fare information available starting Saturday. The carrier, which recently announced plans to expand its Southern California service, also said it plans to add a fifth daily nonstop flight between Los Angeles International Airport and JFK, and a third daily flight between San Francisco International Airport and JFK. TWA also starts flying between LAX and Reagan National Airport in Washington on Sept. 10.
