Senetas Taps COO for U.S. Operations

* Senetas Corp., an Australia-based venture capital and technology incubator, has opened a Los Angeles office as part of its plan to invest in more U.S.-based ventures. Daniel McNamee, a former executive with JNCO, has been name chief operating officer for U.S. operations and will head the office.
* Ken-Mac Metals, a Cleveland-based metals distributor, has named Pam Heine Western regional sales manager. She will be based at Ken-Mac Metals’ Santa Fe Springs office. Heine is a former sales manager at Reliance Steel & Aluminum’s Bralco Metals unit.
* Duff & Phelps, a Chicago-based investment banker, has named Jonathan Spees a managing director in its Los Angeles office. Spees spent the last 15 years at Shamrock Investments, a private investment firm specializing in the health-care industry.
* Los Angeles-based freight forwarder and customs broker Air-Sea Forwarders Inc. has restructured its top executive ranks. Company founder and owner Erwin Rautenberg remains chairman and chief executive; Anthony Fiacchino was named president; Emil Justrich general manager; and Raymond Martel vice president, sales and agents.
