The City Council this week voted to hire an engineering firm to conduct parkway concrete repair and sidewalk work in the city.
S. Parker Engineering Inc. will receive $404,455 from the city for the reconstruction of curbs, gutters, sidewalks and driveways, as well as new grass and trees. The firm will do work at 54 locations throughout the city.
