Network Gets $4,000 for County AIDS Project

* The Life Enhancement and Addiction Recovery Network has received a $4,000 grant from Kaiser Permanente to support its Ventura County AIDS Project. The project provides direct services to HIV / AIDS patients and their families, such as financial assistance, case management, benefits counseling, a food pantry, as well as education and prevention programs.
Alliance Donates Funds to Nursing School
* Ventura College’s School of Nursing has received $1,500 from the Ventura County Medical Society Alliance. The money will be used to buy laboratory equipment. The alliance also provided $15,750 in scholarships for 31 students.
