“A ’99 Edna Valley Chardonnay ‘Paragon Vineyard.’ It was a real good example of a ’99 Chardonnay. Those tend to be a little leaner with nice green apple fruit and good acidity and structure. It wasn’t as big and broad as a Napa Valley Chardonnay. What we’re seeing is a little leaner, and [it] will age really nicely.”
