Chaminade 9, Murphy 0--Alex deMattos had two goals and three assists for the Eagles, ranked No. 2, in a nonleague victory at Chaminade.
Paul Cosaro scored two goals for Chaminade (2-0-1).
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Valley 68, Hancock 57--Itricia Ewells scored 21 points and Michelle Tompkins had 18 for the Monarchs in a Western State Conference interdivision victory at Hancock.
Lily Ramirez had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Michelle Duncan added 11 rebounds and 11 blocked shots for Valley (9-6).
