Golden Rain Foundation board members are scheduled to decide today whether to authorize a poll of residents regarding Leisure World’s name change.
Residents would have three names to choose from: the Village of Laguna Woods, Laurel Hills or Pacific Village.
Bob Ring, chairman of the foundation, which manages Leisure World amenities, said there had been no decision made about how the poll will be conducted. It could be as informal as a yes or no poll in the local newspaper, he said.
The board meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Leisure World Administration Board Room, 23522 Paseo de Valencia.
