The Orange County Tourism Council, which promotes and markets Orange County as a regional world-class visitors destination, will be leaving its Irvine headquarters in March to join forces with Cal State Fullerton.
The partnership is designed to enhance the council’s ability to expand its services and to give students information about career opportunities in the travel and tourism industry, said Bruce Brown, the council’s director.
The university this fall plans to offer courses in entertainment and tourism with majors in the Colleges of the Arts, Communications and Business and Economics, said Ephraim Smith, Cal State’s vice president of academic affairs.
