The Tustin Unified School District on Monday approved $50,000 Healthy Start Planning grant proposals for Estock and Veeh elementary schools for the 2000-01 school year.
The money will support an assessment of the needs and strengths of the community. During the past three years, Estock and Veeh have experienced major demographic changes.
Estock’s Limited English Proficient population has increased from 46% to 78% and Veeh’s has increased from 27% to 70%.
