Late Surge Lifts Iowa State

Angie Welle scored 22 points and No. 11 Iowa State went on a 26-4 run over the final six minutes to rally past Texas, 79-66, Wednesday night at Austin, Texas.
The victory clinched a share of the Big 12 title for the Cyclones (22-5, 13-3 in the conference) and the top seeding in the conference tournament. Iowa State owns the head-to-head tiebreaker with Oklahoma.
Edwina Brown led Texas (18-11, 9-7) with 15 points.
No. 21 Oklahoma 77, Oklahoma State 68--Phylesha Whaley scored 22 points to help rally the Sooners in a Big 12 game at Norman, Okla.
Whaley added seven rebounds and five assists for Oklahoma (23-6, 13-3), which trailed, 37-35, at halftime.
Jessica Bates had 28 points and 13 rebounds for Oklahoma State (13-15, 5-11).
