UCLA, USC Not Only Schools Around
As a former basketball coach and athletic director (Loyola Marymount, 1954-68), I find it very disturbing that the L.A. Times continues to overpublicize the UCLA and USC basketball programs while practically ignoring the achievements of Pepperdine and Long Beach State, local schools having far more successful seasons.
Why the continual inane “daily reports” regarding JaRon Rush, Rico’s toes, Gadzuric’s thumbs and of course Sean’s unhappiness at going out a loser?
Come on, let’s have some fair, honest, unbiased and objective reporting of the local collegiate basketball scene.
