In the Southern Section:
Long Beach Wilson 48, Lynwood 46--Long Beach Wilson, trailing by 14 with less than seven minutes remaining, scored the final 14 points to win the Division I-AA title at the Pyramid in Long Beach.
Dawn McCullough made four free throws in the final two minutes, the last with 1:20 remaining to give Wilson (29-4) a 47-46 lead.
Long Beach St. Anthony 65, Pacific Hills 34--The third-seeded Saints (23-8) continued their domination in the division by taking a 26-7 first-quarter lead on the Bruins (19-8) en route to their first section title, in Division V-AA.
