Quiksilver Names Merchandising Exec

Carol Christopherson has been appointed senior vice president, merchandising, for the Roxy division of Quiksilver Inc. in Huntington Beach. Christopherson has been senior vice president and general merchandise manager for Miller’s Outpost Stores for the past three years. During her 13 years at Miller’s Outpost, she also was buyer and divisional merchandise manager.

* Alan Weaver has been appointed president and chief executive of Sonic Jet Performance Inc. in Huntington Beach. Before joining the company, Weaver was president as well as senior vice president for strategic business development at InCirT Technology. He has also been senior vice president of the Cerplex Group.

* Kris Olsen has been named vice president of R.D. Olson Development in Irvine. Olsen was formerly senior production manager at Homestead Guest Studios and director of project management for Trusthouse Forte Hotels.

* Alan C. Villanueva has been made a partner in the tax practice group of Corbin & Wertz in Irvine. He had been a senior tax manager for the company for four years.

* D.B. Temple is the new head golf professional at Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Coast. In 1991, he joined Western Golf Properties, a golf development and management company in Scottsdale, Ariz., as assistant golf professional at Pelican Hill. Since then, he has been with the Golf Club at Eagle Mountain in Arizona and Heritage Palms Golf Club in Indio.
