Two Victims

Kenneth L. Zimmerman (letter, March 7) writes that the 6-year-old boy who shot Kayla Rolland “should be held accountable.” That is his opinion; here’s mine. Babies aren’t “born” bad, they’re created. From what I read about that little boy’s environment, he didn’t have much of a chance of being the type of person Zimmerman clamors for.
As I see it, that day of the shooting there were two victims. The 6-year-old girl so tragically killed and the little boy who pulled the trigger.
