Montclair Prep 22, Marlborough 0--Monique Lovell pitched the first perfect game in school history for the Mounties in a first-round game at Marlborough. She had 14 strikeouts.

DOWNEY TOURNAMENT

Crescenta Valley 4, Santa Fe 1--Annemarie Blodgett’s three-run double lifted the Falcons in a second-round game.

Meredith Cervenka (3-0) pitched a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts and no walks for the Falcons (3-0).

Newbury Park 2, Mayfair 1--The Panthers snapped a scoreless tie in the top of the eighth inning when Sara Scott scored on Kamala Kiffe’s sacrifice fly and Jennifer Dilley singled home Oli Kehohou in a second-round game.

Katie Stokx (2-0) pitched a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts.

NONLEAGUE

Burbank 2-2, Glendale 1-1--Emily Brower (3-0) struck out 15 in nine innings as the Bulldogs registered a nonleague sweep at Gross Park.

Brower pitched a three-hitter and struck out 10 in the opener and struck out five in two scoreless innings of relief in the second game.

Kristin Carr gave Burbank (4-0) a seventh-inning victory in the first game when she tripled and scored on a single by Kristin Talamantes.

Carr hit a run-scoring double in the second game.

Paraclete 15, Santa Clara 0--Tami Ortiz had three hits, two RBIs and scored three times for the Spirits in a nonleague opener at Paraclete.
