Warner Middle School will be holding its third annual Kid Conference for its 850 students 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Principal Linda Paulson says she hopes the presentations by community groups will empower students with information and tools to make positive choices in their lives. The Anti-Defamation League will discuss the importance of avoiding stereotypes, the American Cancer Society will address issues such as “Is Joe Camel Cool?,” and the city’s Police Department will answer questions about drug abuse.
