Sara Dean of Hart is starting to hit back.
In the first week of the softball season, Hart’s catcher was plugged in the eye with a ball thrown by a teammate. She got hit in the chest a few days later.
Dean had five hits Saturday in victories over Westlake and Highland to lead Hart to the championship of its tournament.
