Anaheim is seeking volunteers for Saturday’s Census Kickoff Day. Volunteers will help spread the word among Anaheim’s residential neighborhoods and shopping centers about the census’ importance to Anaheim.
For every resident counted in the upcoming 2000 U.S. Census, Anaheim will receive about $2,000 over the next 10 years.
Census Kickoff Day begins with a breakfast at 9 a.m. at the Downtown Community Center, 250 E. Center St.
