* Regarding Proposition 21, David E. Ross asked in his March 14 letter:
“If a 14-year-old is tried as an adult for murder, convicted and sentenced to execution, can he order beer with his last meal on death row?”
Of course he can.
Given our dilatory appellate process, that convicted murderer will be far beyond the legal drinking age by the time the sentence is carried out.
