Motorists who negotiate the Red Hill Avenue overpass of the San Diego Freeway will face detours for nine months. The overpass was closed last weekend for construction.
The following routes are recommended:
Northbound: Head south on Bristol Street, turn left on Campus Drive, turn left on MacArthur Boulevard, turn left on Main Street and head west to Red Hill Avenue.
Southbound: Go east on Main Street, turn right on MacArthur Boulevard, turn right on Campus Drive, turn right on Bristol Street and head north to Red Hill Avenue.
