* William J. Allison has been promoted to president of Litton’s Data Systems Division, the Agoura Hills-based company said, replacing Christopher C. Bernhardt who left to join another company. Allison had been division vice president of engineering.
Litton builds ships for the U.S. Navy and nonnuclear and surface ships for commercial clients worldwide. The company also provides information technology services and systems.
* Lisa Haller has been appointed senior vice president, sales, at Universal Studios, Hollywood, the company said. She will integrate sales strategies for various markets including travel, special events and corporate.
* Image Entertainment, Chatsworth, announced several staff promotions and the hiring of W. George Easton for the new position of director of distribution and fulfillment. He will oversee operations of the company’s Las Vegas distribution center. In addition, Garrett M. Lee has been promoted to vice president of marketing, Mary Shepis-Johnson, vice president of creative services, and Sylvie Yang, vice president, controller.
Image Entertainment acquires DVD production and distribution rights for entertainment content.
* The Disney Channel, Burbank, announced the promotion of Gary Marsh to executive vice president, original programming. He will oversee all of the Disney Channel’s original programming. In addition, he will oversee a new department that will handle the network’s growing documentary and music-based programming. Tina Treadwell, who oversees all of the Disney Channel’s talent development, has been promoted to vice president, talent and alternative programming, and Claire McCabe has been named director, alternative programming.
At Disney Consumer Products, Burbank, Rodger Wyett has been named vice president, global apparel. He will develop overall business and retail channel strategy, and product development management.
* Jo Lynn Feinstein has been appointed senior director of program development with Cal State Northridge’s College of Extended Learning, the college said. She will serve as a link to the business community, working to establish training opportunities and programs.
* Coyote Network Systems Inc., Westlake Village, announced the addition of Cheryl Johnson as chief financial officer and Donald Greenstein as network operations manager of its carrier subsidiary, INET Interactive Network System Inc. INET is a facilities-based service provider that markets international and domestic long distance, primarily to affinity groups.
