IHOP’s 1st-Quarter Net Up 8% Over Last Year

IHOP Corp. in Glendale reported net income for the first quarter ended March 31 of $7.2 million, an 8% increase over net earnings of $6.7 million for the first quarter of 1999. Revenues rose to $68.4 million from $61.3 million.
IHOP franchises, licenses and operates a chain of 900 restaurants.
