Robert Schult, who resigned as president of Glendale-based Nestle USA Inc. in January, has joined Novopoint, a Minneapolis-based Internet business-to-business marketplace, as its chief executive. Novopoint, which is launching this summer with an initial investment from such companies as agriculture giant Cargill, will supply food manufacturers with ingredients, packaging and services. It will be operated as an independent company, owned by its food company members.
