Cypress Office Supply Store Evacuated

A Staples office-supply store in Cypress was evacuated for four hours Thursday afternoon after seven employees complained of dizziness, authorities said.
No gas leak or other fumes could be found by the Orange County Fire Authority or Staples’ facilities workers.
Ambulances transported six store employees to three hospitals, where they were released after brief examinations, said Capt. Paul Hunter of the Fire Authority. Seven people at the scene declined treatment.
The store, on Katella Avenue west of Knott Avenue, reopened at 3:30 p.m. after the premises were deemed safe, Staples spokeswoman Christina Erridge said.
“‘There is not any cause of concern as of now, but we’re continuing to investigate it,” Erridge said.
