Season-Ticket Prices Expected to Go Down

The Mighty Ducks are expected to lower at least some season-ticket prices for the first time in franchise history.
The Ducks raised ticket prices after each of their first six seasons. However, the Ducks finished in last place in the NHL Pacific Division last season. The average attendance of 14,460, the lowest in franchise history, was down 9% from the 1998-99 season and 15% from two seasons ago.
The Ducks’ average ticket price last season was $46.18, which ranked 14th among the 28 NHL teams, according to Team Marketing Report.
The Angels, the other team owned by Disney, froze season-ticket prices following a last-place finish last year.
Duck officials declined to comment but said they expect to make an announcement in the next few days.
