Schools in the Los Alamitos Unified School District are accepting, for the first time, transfers from students in all grade levels from other school districts. Parents should first contact their school district and request an interdistrict transfer. That form can then be brought to the LAUSD district office, 10293 Bloomfield St., weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Transfer students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as space is available.
