The City Council approved a traffic plan designed to reduce car speeds on Vida and Francisco drives. The improvements included building a crescent-shaped median on Vida and Francisco, which connect at a bend on the road; constructing a center divider at the intersection on Vida Drive at Fernando Circle; and installing stop signs on Center Drive at Francisco Drive and on Fernando Circle at Vida Drive. The cost is estimated at $20,000 and construction could begin as early as this summer.
