* Re “Holocaust Revisionist Begins U.S. Tour,” May 30: Our understanding of a historical revisionist is one who shifts the focus on historical events to include sometimes less-popular perspectives of history that later come to light.

David Irving is not a revisionist. Calling him that gives his views credibility. He is pure and simple an anti-Semitic Holocaust denier or, as the British judge as well as other noted historians called him, a liar who manipulated the facts to suit his racist attitudes.
