City officials agreed to reestablish an agreement with the Orange County animal sheltering services to take care of the city’s sheltering of animals.
For the fiscal year 2000-01, the cost of sheltering animals is estimated to reach $75,559 for La Habra and $95,667 for Buena Park, for a total estimated contract cost of $171,226. La Habra currently covers the Buena Park bill from an existing agreement between the two cities.
