Shares Dip 17 Cents at Aviation Firm

Aviation Distributors Inc., a Lake Forest aircraft parts redistributor and provider of inventory management services to commercial airlines said it lost $570,367, or 17 cents a share, for the third quarter. The loss included a $642,016 fine to settle federal allegations the company falsified records to obtain a loan, and $215,985 in legal expenses. A year ago, the company earned $47,712, or 1 cent a share. Revenue rose 87% to $10.1 million.
