Police Identify Boy Killed by Truck

Oxnard police have identified Anthony Ojeda as the 2-year-old boy hit by a car and killed at the Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park.
His 10-year-old sister, Lizeth Ojeda, was pushing him on a child’s bicycle when a truck driven by Guadalupe Alvarez hit the two children about 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Alvarez was backing his truck out of his residence around a corner and did not see them, police said.
Anthony was taken by his family to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
