Channel Islands 7, Rio Mesa 0--Tommy Menga rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown at Rio Mesa.
Menga, a 5-foot-5 senior, plunged through the middle on a one-yard run midway through the second quarter, capping an 80-yard, 15-play drive.
The Raiders (2-5, 1-1) knocked down three passes at the line of scrimmage by Lionel Carrizales, who completed 13 of 29 passes for 78 yards.
The Spartans (1-6, 0-1) were led by John Cerda, who had 83 yards in 19 carries.
