OUTLOOK
Despite having only two returning seniors, Roark, in his first year at Whittier Christian, expects the Heralds to make the playoffs. Roark coached at Brethren Christian in the early ‘90s and compiled a 23-11 record in three seasons. He led the Warriors to the 1992 Olympic League title and to the semifinals of the Division X playoffs. The Heralds are probably a year away from making noise in the league. Oldfield is their only returning senior starter.
