* I note with regret that you have chosen to turn back Los Angeles’ clock with your endorsement of Michael Woo for the 13th Council District (editorial, March 27). While Woo has provided years of service to our community and once was the youngest council member, it is clear from the voters’ previous choices that times have changed. The City Council does not need another “experienced” member, it needs the energy, intelligence, candor and ethics that Eric Garcetti brings to the table. All of the voters that I have met in the 13th District recognize the core values and ideas that Garcetti will fight for. He is the right choice for this election, and The Times erred in endorsing Woo based on his previous experience.
