Agoura Ends Pool Play at Baseball Tournament

Luke Riordan, who had four hits, Chris Denove and Jonathan Trelatsky hit home runs as Agoura defeated Cheyenne, Wyo., 18-8, in eight innings on Friday in the second game of pool play at the American Legion baseball Northwest Regional tournament in Sheridan, Wyo.

Agoura (29-8) lost its opening game, 13-12, to unbeaten North Salem, Ore. (42-9). Agoura needed a victory Saturday to advance to a semifinal against Bellevue, Wash., at 1 p.m. today
