SOUTHERN SECTION CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDUP

Redlands Arrowhead Christian 43, Mammoth 16--Alex Ballard was a one-man show as the Eagles clinched their first Southern Section Division XIII title with a convincing victory at Yucaipa High.
Ballard rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown, caught three passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns, and also contributed on defense with two interceptions.
Though the Eagles (13-1) started the game with three touchdowns in a five-minute span in the first quarter, the Huskies (11-3) roared back in the second on one-yard scores by Garrett Stoltzfus and R.J. Slanson and a safety.
But Mammoth would get no closer, and a neck injury to Flamson at the start of the second half ended the threat. He was taken off the field on a stretcher and transported to a hospital, coaches said.
