What slump? Woods, who hadn’t finished worse than 13th place all year, finally broke through in the victory column with a birdie on the 18th hole at Bay Hill to beat Phil Mickelson.

There is that slump talk again. Woods had finished 18th at the Nissan Open and second at the Match Play Championship at La Costa, but he won at Bay Hill.
