Film Festival to Feature Documentary on Uganda

The Ojai Film Festival will stage a special preview screening Saturday of the full-length documentary “ABC Africa.”
The film, by Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami, follows Ugandan children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic. The festival will be the film’s West Coast premiere.
His “A Taste of Cherry” won a prize at Cannes in 1997.
The screening will be held at the Ojai Playhouse, 145 E. Ojai Ave., at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $7.50. For information, call 649-4101.
