Gambling With Art

Motorcycles have not, are not and never will be works of great art (“The High Life Meets Still Life in Vegas,” Oct. 8). The Solomon R. Guggenheim, our nation’s premier, leading museum, sold out commercially for a buck, or should I say, a Las Vegas buck. The street-walking, weary slot machine players find it wonderful and weird. As a former 1977 member of the Junior Board of Governors, Guggenheim Museum of Art, I only see a formerly great museum selling out.
