House OKs $30 Million in Military Projects

The House of Representatives has approved three Ventura County military projects, totaling $29.9 million in improvements and upgrades.
If also approved by the Senate, the money would pay for a new pier on San Nicolas Island, improvements at Port Hueneme and the replacement of an old building and a new training center at the Navy’s Vehicle Maintenance Yard at Port Hueneme.
