Harvey Headlines UCLA Soccer Recruits

Capistrano Valley High fullback Jordan Harvey, a member of the U.S. under-20 team, is one of five Southland soccer players to sign with the UCLA men’s team.

Harvey will be joined by under-18 national team goalkeeper Erid Reed of Laguna Hills, forward Evan Corey of North Hills L.A. Baptist, midfielder Michael Gardner of La Verne Damien and goalkeeper Nate Pena of Santa Ana Mater Dei.

Three National Players Sign With UCLA Women

North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake midfielder Jill Oakes, a member of the under-21 national team, is one of three Southland signees for the UCLA women’s soccer team with national-team experience.

Also signing were Aliso Niguel midfielder Stacy Lindstrom and Santa Margarita forward Katie Rivera.

Chatsworth forward Jenna Fodor, Santa Margarita fullback Daniella Bosio and Lakewood St. Joseph goalkeeper Anna Picarelli have signed with the Pepperdine women’s soccer team.
