Veteran music executive Richard Griffiths has been tapped to head the international operations of The Firm, the management powerhouse handling the careers of such acts as Limp Bizkit and the Dixie Chicks.
Griffiths, the former president of Sony Music’s Epic Records label in the U.S., is expected to develop The Firm’s new London office and oversee expansion of the company’s music, film and other businesses.
Barbara Rider has been named head of production at Autonomy, a Los Angeles-based branding and marketing firm specializing in film and broadcast clients.
Rider is a former executive with Wunderfilm Design and the Post Group. She will oversee all aspects of Autonomy’s production for the firm’s entertainment and media clients.
Richard Wellerstein has been promoted to vice president, theatrical programming and acquisitions of In Demand, a pay-per-view and video-on-demand distributor. Wellerstein also will continue to handle licensing and programming deals for new studio releases and other content.
