Universal Music Sets Market-Share Record

Vivendi Universal set a music industry record last week by cornering 42% of the current sales market in the United States.
The French corporation’s Universal Music Group slaughtered the competition, racking up six of the nation’s 10 best-selling CDs, including rapper Eminem’s “The Eminem Show,” which sold more than 1.3 million copies last week.
