Here it is, the height of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Summer is just around the corner. All is well in Hockeytown L.A. and boom, I receive in the mail a “2002-2003 Los Angeles Kings Season Invoice.” Although they included only a modest 3.85% price increase!? That is due by June 14!? The current season isn’t over and they’re asking us to pony up for the next one.
Now I wouldn’t mind if they would pick up a high-priced free agent with the interest they will earn on my money, but what are the chances of that happening?
Hopefully my 2001 tax refund is just around the corner to help pay for the tickets.
