Snakes Alive!

I suppose in this age of terrorism most people might not give a second thought to the drowning of rattlesnakes in cheap tequila for the amusement of tourists. But it is a disgusting and cruel practice, even in the name of “miracle cures,” which are always cultural or urban myths anyway.
Mammals are given a lot more attention when they are the victims of cruelty than are reptiles. All animals deserve to be treated humanely, even if they are to be used for human consumption.
