Ratings for Finals Down 19%

After three games of the NBA Finals, NBC is averaging a 10.0 national TV rating with a 19 share, which is 19% lower than the 12.3/22 the network was averaging after three games last year, when the Lakers played the Philadelphia 76ers.

Game 3 Sunday night drew a national rating of 10.2 with an 18 share. L.A. had a 30.2/50, New York a 12.9/20.

Game 3 of the Western Conference finals, in which the Lakers lost to Sacramento, 103-90, had an 18.7/47 in L.A. But Game 7, when the Lakers won the series in overtime, had a 36.9/52.
