Fencing League Finals Held at Chaminade

Scott Sugimoto of North Hollywood Harvard Westlake won the boys’ individual foil and Christine Shu of Pasadena Westridge won the girls’ individual foil at the Southern California Scholastic Fencing League finals Saturday at West Hills Chaminade High.
Adam Boorstin of Harvard-Westlake and Justine Aw of Santa Monica Crossroads won the individual sabre competitions, and Nick Andryc of Chaminade and Keli Reinalda of Victor Valley won the individual epee competitions.
Varsity team competitions were won by Chaminade (men’s foil and men’s epee), Harvard Westlake (sabre) and Victor Valley (women’s epee).
