From Times Staff Reports
A family of four escaped injury Tuesday when a fire erupted in a closet of their condominium, officials said.
The blaze caused $3,000 in damage. It broke out shortly after 11 a.m. in the 25900 block of Orbita, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Miller.
The smoldering fire may have been sparked by an overloaded electrical outlet, but the cause is still under investigation.
The two adults and two children displaced from the home were being assisted by the American Red Cross.
